PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for producing ice cream capable of allowing a fruit flesh sauce containing flesh of a fruit to be suitably used as a sauce when mixing or attaching the sauce with or to an ice cream base, having very simple structure an excellent maintenance adaptability, and capable of avoiding the increase of a production cost. SOLUTION: This apparatus for producing the ice cream is constituted so that the sauce is merged in a sauce-merging nozzle 28 in the direction nearly orthogonal to a taking-out passage 282 of an ice cream base and at the position of the downstream side of a contraction part 284 by forming a sauce-feeding opening 287. The sauce-feeding part houses a sauce-feeding pipe 32 for feeding the sauce to the sauce-merging nozzle 28 in the interior of a sauce-storing part 31 so as to be separated from the sauce-merging nozzle 28. As a result, the maintenance adaptability can be improved by a simple structure because a means for producing and taking out the ice cream base and the sauce-feeding part can be substantially separated.
