摘要 PURPOSE: A bearing sensor having magneto resistive elements is provided to reduce the number of measurement times and to enhance the sensitivity. CONSTITUTION: A bearing sensor having magneto resistive elements is provided with a planar coil(1), having a pair of parallel opposite sides and at least a pair of magneto resistive elements in a plane parallel to the coil. One of the magneto resistive elements of each pair crosses only one of the paired parallel opposite sides of the coil and the other crosses only the other side of the coil. The longitudinal direction of one of the paired magneto resistive elements and that of the other are non-parallel, or preferably perpendicular, to each other. If one side of the coil crosses two magneto resistive elements, the longitudinal directions of the magneto resistive elements are non-parallel, or preferably perpendicular, to each other. One end part of one of paired magneto resistive elements is connected to one end part of the other, and an intermediate potential output is extracted therefrom. Azimuth is found based on the output.
