PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polish oil applying machine for bakery which can almost evenly apply polish oil to the whole surface of bread rolls including their sides and can prevent the pollution of working environment due to the polish oil, leading to the better sanitary conditions. SOLUTION: In this machine, as a conveyor moves in a prescribed direction carrying baked bread rolls, application brushes, moving in the same or the reverse direction, continuously applies polish oil to the surfaces of those bread rolls. A rocking means for rocking the application brushes against the conveyance direction is provided, so that the application brushes, rocked by the rocking means, can uniformly apply polish oil to the whole surface of the bread being carried.
