PURPOSE: A method for transfer printing a graphic image on a solid board plank is provided which is inexpensive, rapid, highly durable and excellent in printing quality by a simple process. CONSTITUTION: A certain graphic image to be printed is printed as a mirror image on a ready-made soft transfer paper using a copying medium in a first step. Foreign materials are cleaned off from the surface of a solid board plank in a second step. The transfer paper printed with the mirror image is treated on the surface of the solid board plank in a third step. The graphic image of the transfer paper is fused on the surface of the solid board plank by applying a predetermined pressure and heat for a predetermined time by a heat transfer machine in a fourth step.
