SUBSTANCE: device for roll-on of polymeric coating on steel welded pipes by the method of side extrusion has a roll-on roller with a mechanism for clamping to the pipe and lamination rollers with mechanisms for clamping to the pipe. The lamination rollers, whose axes of rotation are parallel to the pipe axis, are positioned for axial motion at a speed of the pipe movement, when the pipe joint passes under the roll-on roller. EFFECT: enhanced quality of roll-on of the coating at the pipe ends, which provides for production of coating with standard adhesion, prevented air bubbles between the metal and the coating. 2 cl, 2 dwg
