PURPOSE: A method for setting an environment of a starting page is provided to constitute a starting page without a code checking process by designating an ID received at a joining process as a site lower directory, thereby receiving a basic space capable of having one's only homepage address and constituting a starting page. CONSTITUTION: A user(10) connects to a main server(11) and requests a personal ID necessary for constituting a starting page. The main server(11) performs storage in a personal information DB(12) and a starting page environment setting DB(13), and issues an ID. If the user(10) inputs a homepage address using the ID, the main server(11) checks whether a homepage space having the ID is existed. If a homepage space having the ID is existed, the server(11) supplies a starting page screen constitution(14,15) in accordance with an environment setting element.
