PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means for removing the corners of a mat having a form integrated with a tread board by filling a form and solidifying. SOLUTION: This method for forming a mat with rounded corners comprises, in the formation of the mat having the form integrated to the tread board by filling and solidifying a raw material for the tread board in a first form, connecting a second form attachable to and detachable from the first form and having a circular upper end part onto the first form, filling and solidifying the raw material in the two connected forms, and then removing the second form.
