PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid-crystal oriented film, wherein a panel defect by exfoliation of an oriented film, generation of film scraping and poor orientation does not generate in rubbing treatment even if a firing temperature in forming the oriented film is lowered to use a plastic base, wherein a blurring tilt angle can be larger when a side chain group capable of making the blurring tilt angle larger, is introduced in a polyamide acid, and so on. SOLUTION: The liquid-crystal oriented film is formed by firing a composition at 100-170 deg.C, wherein this composition is composed of a polyamide acid (ester) of 0.1-25 wt.% that is a polymer having a polymer unit expressed by formula (1), an organosilane compound expressed by formula (2) of 0.001-5 wt.%, and a solvent of 75 wt.% or above and 99.9 wt.% or below. In the following formulae, G1 is a tetracarboxylic acid residual group, G2 is a diamine residual group, R is a hydrogen or a monovalent organic residual group, R0 is a 1-5C alkyl group, p is an integer of 0-3, and Z0 is a single bond or a 1-12C alkylene group. |
