PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correct misalignment of a magnetic head resulting from deformation of a load beam caused by heat generation of an IC and occurring at a suspension for mounting the IC on the load beam. SOLUTION: The IC is equipped with a temperature sensor. According to the temperature rise value measure by the temperature sensor, the quantity of misalignment of the magnetic head section is measured beforehand and recorded as a correction value and the heat misalignment of the magnetic head is corrected by running a micro-actuator according to the temperature measured in operation.
