PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication apparatus in which a communication function can be realized without affected by a hardware configuration, such as one hardwareboard and two hardwareboards. SOLUTION: This communication apparatus configure individual parts by including interface software which is divided into management software for realizing a communication managing part 61 and a line managing part 62 and control software for realizing a communication controlling part 63 and a line controlling part 64 and a realizes an i/f controlling part 66 between the management software and the control software at the time of performing communication and calling/terminating operation. The interface software controls both a case when a message is transferred to another hardwareboard and a case when the message is not transferred.
