PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a navigation system capable of carrying out an operation for guiding a specific point with optimal timing that matches to the feeling of each user. SOLUTION: The navigation system calculates a time when a vehicle arrives at the specific point using the information of running condition of the vehicle, the positional information of the vehicle and the positional information of the specific point, and starts the operation for guiding the specific point in the case the calculated time is not more than a preset time. The navigation system includes a means by which the user selects and sets the preset time from plural sets of time. |
