PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an instrument for inspecting a light reflecting object, the same usage and inspection method, capable of examining the light reflecting object, regardless of its size, e.g. a hologram. SOLUTION: This instrument has a light source 11 for irradiating a beam of light at a prescribed incident angle equal to that at which the beam of light having entered is reflected by the reflecting object 20 at a certain angle of emittance and an imaging means 13 for imaging the beam of light reflected from reflecting object 20.
