PURPOSE:To inject molten metal in the atmosphere by arranging a heat resisting plate having plural holes just above an injection nozzle for the molten metal and burning a carbon material, which is inserted so that it is not brought into contact with the molten metal and a molten metal supplying tube, while touching with said plate. CONSTITUTION:When the raw metal is melted in the molten metal supplying tube 1, the heat resisting plate 8 having plural holes is arranged just above the nozzle 3 to be used as a filter. Next, carbon bars or carbon powders are inserted into one or more holes 8a of the heat resisting plate 8. When the raw metal is heated in argon gas together with the carbonic material, a getter material is converted into CO2 by a reactive with air flowed from the nozzle end. Thus, this apparatus prevents the molten metal from its oxidation. |
