<p>In an archery bow having a rigid handle portion and a pair of non-flexing limbs connected with the respective ends thereof, a pair of cams are mounted at the respective ends of the handle portion. The respective ends of the bowstring are connected with the cams arid entrained over pulleys at the free ends of the limbs. Resilient members, secured to the handle portion, bear against the gemming surface of the cams. As the bowstring is drawn, the cams force the resilient members toward the respective ends of the handle portion and stop the bowstring at full draw at the limit of cam rotation against the resilient members.</p> |
