PURPOSE: A pottery composition prepared by adding monazite to conventional pottery materials is provided, which emits far infrared rays and anions for air purification, and has the effects of alkalization and sterilization of food. CONSTITUTION: The pottery composition is prepared by adding 1-5wt.%(based on the pottery composition) of monazite to a conventional pottery composition comprising 40-45wt.% of feldspar, 15-25wt.% of lime stone, 10-15wt.% of pottery stone, 20-30wt.% of silica stone, and 2-5wt.% of talc.
