PURPOSE: A superspeed wireless LAN system using IEEE 1394 is provided to give convenience in use by integrating an IEEE 1394 application device and an IEEE 802.11b wireless LAB device by wireless. CONSTITUTION: An IEEE 802.11x radio part(40) converts a radio signal, received through an antenna(39), into a baseband signal, executes digital conversion, and supplies it to a radio access interface(42). The radio access interface(42) executes digital signal processing for the signal. Then the signal is transmitted to a web server CPU(56) via a PC card/Ethernet interface(50). The signal transmitted to the web server CPU(56) is transmitted to an IEEE 1394 link layer(63) through an Ethernet interface(59) for transfer to an IEEE 1394 protocol. An IEEE 1394 physical layer(64) carries out signal modulation for the protocol-transferred signal. An IEEE 1394 transceiver(65) converts the modulated signal into a serial analog signal and transmits the converted signal to an IEEE application device.
