PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an interlock device for an industrial vehicle with an automatic transmission capable of operating more surely than the conventional one. SOLUTION: This interlock device is provided with a fixing means comprising a lock pin 3 moved by the operation of an actuator 4 so as to fix a shift position of the automatic transmission to an advancing position or a retreating position operated by an operator and a lock plate 1 provided in a shift operation system and having engagement grooves 12 and 13 in positions opposite to the lock pin 3 in the advancing position and the retreating position. This device is so constituted that, when the traveling speed of the vehicle is a set speed or less, a relay 16 and a solenoid 15A are not driven, when exceeding the set speed, the relay 16 and the solenoid 15A are driven and the fixing means is actuated by the actuator 4 via the solenoid valve 15.
