PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a corona discharge treatment apparatus capable of efficiently applying corona discharge treatment even to a large-size non-conductive and thick material. SOLUTION: The corona discharge treatment apparatus is equipped with a first electrode 10 which is arranged in close vicinity to the treatment surface 50S of an object 50 to be treated and has a coating member 40 applied to its surface, a second electrode 20 which is arranged in close vicinity to the first electrode 10 on the same side with respect to the first electrode 10 and the object 50 to be treated, a high frequency oscillator 31, and a high voltage transformer 32. Further, the apparatus is equipped with a high voltage generator 30 for applying high frequency high voltage across the first and second electrodes 10 and 20 to generate corona discharge between both electrodes 10 and 20. Corona discharge is generated between both electrodes 10 and 20 by the corona discharge treatment apparatus and is brought into contact with the treatment surface 50S.
