PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal or resin material of which the surface is subjected to brightening treatment, having appearance near to electric chromium plating and excellent in corrosion resistance and ductility resistance, and a brightening treatment method for the metal or resin material. SOLUTION: The metal or resin material of which the surface is subjected to brightening treatment has the metal or resin material 1, the resin coating film 2 formed on the surface of the material 1, the titanium alloy membrane 3 having chromium plating appearance formed on the membrane 3 and the transparent resin-coating film 4 formed on the membrane 3 as a protective layer. The resin coating film 2 consists of a powder coating layer 2a with a thickness of 20-200μm comprising a polyester, an acrylic resin, an epoxy type resin or a mixture of them and an undercoat 2b with a thickness of 10-40μm formed on the powder coating layer and formed by using a polyester resin being a main agent and a melamine resin being a crosslinking agent to subject them to thermal curing reaction. |
