PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automobile element using a pad and establish a method of manufacturing such elements. SOLUTION: The automobile element using the pad includes a padding 5 consisting of synthetic foam of flexible nature having a supporting surface 6 to support a flexible member 8 and accordingly support its user, wherein the supporting surface is covered with a film 12 suitable for serving as a barrier for a synthetic foam before its polymerization, a first compressive flexible layer 14 covering the film by the side face of the padding on the opposite side, showing an air permeability of 200 l.m-2.s-1 or less under differential pressure 100 Pa and exhibiting a load bearing force of 5 kPa, a second flexible layer 15 exhibiting a load bearing force of 12 kPa, and an exterior decorating cover 11 of flexible nature.
