摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize an accurate and simplified separation of thermal decomposition residue in a technology of waste disposal by thermal decomposition, and thereby simplify a system of waste disposal. SOLUTION: This fluidized bed separator 1 is provided with an inclined perforated plate 3 and air-sending boxes 4a-4c subdivided by partitioning walls 8. A lot of air blowing holes 6 are formed on the inclined perforated plate 3, each of which is provided with an appentice 7. Thermal decomposition residue is supplied from a feed opening 2, fluidized by means of blowing air through the air blowing holes 6 and an fluidizing medium and thereby released from fine particles and combustible elements adherent to the noncombustibles, and then taken out from an outlet opening 9. At this point, however, relatively weighty residue is taken out from a vent 10. As mentioned above, separation of the thermal decomposition residue can be accurate and simplified because fine particles in thermal decomposition residue such as thermally decomposed carbon are separated from the thermal decomposition residue in advance, thus effective and economical system of waste disposal is realized. In addition, separation at an early step contributes to reducing contamination on devices used at later steps.
