PURPOSE: A rubber skirt for a rubber belt conveyor is provided to prevent articles to be conveyed from protruding out of the conveyor belt, to prevent local early wear of the conveyor belt, to improve the durability, and to lengthen the life of the skirt. CONSTITUTION: In a skirt plate(12) of a chute unit for preventing articles to be conveyed from falling out when the articles are loaded on a conveyor belt(14), a rubber skirt(100) is installed to the skirt plate. The end of the rubber skirt is bent outside and the bent bottom is elastically contacted with the top of the conveyor belt. Contact protrusions(130) are formed on the bottom of the rubber skirt contacted with top of the conveyor belt. Therefore, pressure given to the top cover rubber of the conveyor is reduced, and the local early wear of the conveyor belt is prevented.
