PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a comparator circuit which can operate at a high speed, consumes little electric power, and causes few delays. SOLUTION: The operating speed of this comparator circuit is improved. The power consumption of the circuit and the delays caused by the circuit are reduced by adding a bias strengthening current IB which is made to be outputted from the drain of a PMOS28 by operating a bias strengthening circuit A, by inputting a reference voltage VC which is arbitrarily set at a value lower than that of another reference voltage VR to an arbitrary reference terminal 29 of a differential circuit and an input voltage IN to the gate of a PMOS22 to the drain current of a PMOS3 which is the bias current of the comparator circuit.
