PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable telephone set for detecting a stable battery voltage. SOLUTION: This portable telephone set detects the voltage of a battery, while a battery voltage detecting means receives a signal (during RX slot period) at signal communication by a battery power source. When a first threshold and a second threshold, that is smaller than the first threshold are set and when a battery voltage residual quantity information outputting means waits, detection results of the battery voltage detecting means are compared with the first threshold; and when communication is performed, the detection results of the battery voltage detecting means are compared with the second threshold. Information on battery voltage remaining quantity is outputted to a user, on the basis of these comparison results. |
