PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low-cost fan motor enables lowering the friction of a bearing device. SOLUTION: In the fan motor 30 provided with a rotary part 33 that has a rotor 32 with a fan, a stator 37 arranged to face the magnet part 36 of the rotor 32, and a bearing device 38 that rotatably supports the rotary part 33, the bearing device 38 is provided with an outer ring 40, balls 42 that rolls on rolling grooves formed on the surface of the inner circumference of the outer ring 50, and a shaft member that has a cylindrical surface 31a, that supports the side of the balls 42 separated away from the rolling grooves 41 on the outer ring 40. The shaft member is constituted of a rotary shaft 31 of the rotary part 33, and the end part of the rotary shaft 31 is contacted on a point with a housing 34 via a spherical body 44. |
