<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and device for avoiding failures caused by concentration of packets into a specific processing means, enabling smooth IP packet routing. SOLUTION: There are provided an input-side frame converting part 102, which converts an IP packet inputted into an interface part 100 from an external line into such frame type as used inside a device, an input-side routing process part 104 which discriminates an interface part (destination) which is an output end toward a destination packet, based on an IP address set to the IP packet inputted from the external line, and adds an address information indicating destination to the packet, a shaping process part 106 for shaping the packet, a violation detecting part 108 which detects a burst failure of the packet, an output-side routing process part 110 which indicates a timing for packet outputting from the interface part 100, and an output-side frame converting part 112 which converts the packet into a type such as appropriate for a frame of a destination device connected to the external line.</p> |
