<p>A flat card with indenxing dowels and indenxing holes, has either engraved/printed on it a cartesian graticule of a number of scales for the various programme parameter. At various points on these scales, programme marks are made by photographic manual printing punching, or by magnetic/metallic stickers. A set of linear position control servos is used in the copying machine producing these cards from a master read in any suitable way, and similarly servo controlled reading heads scan the card for machine control. Simultaneously a further set of servo drives may control recording heads for the actual measured parameters during processing.</p> |
