PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealed container wherein an easy opening by pulling of a lid or the like is realized while having a round container main body. SOLUTION: This sealed container 1 comprises the container main body 5 of a truncated cone shape having a flange section 3 at the upper end, and the lid 9 having an annular protruding section 7, which is fitted in the flange section 3 of the container main body 5, on the outer peripheral edge. On the container main body 5, a lip section 13 on the main body side is extended from the flange section 3. In the meantime, a lip section 15 on the lid side is extended from the annular protruding section 7 on the lid 9 as well. Both lip sections 13 and 15 exist at approximate the same location, however, the angular phases on the distal end sides are slightly different so that fingers of both hands may be able to easily grip respective lip sections 13 and 15. Also, a recess 17 is formed at one location directly under the lip section 13 on the main body side for the container main body 5.
