PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seat slide device capable of absorbing the dimensional dispersion of each part of a vehicle and seats, simplifying mounting works and enhancing easiness in a slide operation by lessening sliding resistance. SOLUTION: A roller receiving step 23 is formed on each side of the bottom of a body part 21 of a lower rail 20. A pair of right and left rollers 40a, 40b of a two-split configuration is inserted between the step 23 and the upper wall of an upper rail 30, and a coil spring 42 is interposed between the pair of right and left rollers 40a, 40b. The contacting surfaces of sliding parts 43a and 43b of the rollers 40a and 40b with the step 23 are formed into concentrical arcs of circle, and a resilient effect is given to the rollers 40a and 40b and sliders 44a and 44b, and there is no risk of rattling even if the upper rail 30 is inclined or moved to sideways, and it is possible to secure the smooth slide operation of the seat slide device 10.
