PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquefied gas evaporating device capable of saving a device cost and improving safety. SOLUTION: In this liquefied gas evaporating device, a heat medium 19 stored in a tank 3 is heated by a heating means 15; and by conducting heat exchange between the heated heat medium 19 and liquefied gas passing through a flow passage of a heat exchanger 5 arranged in the tank 3, liquid-phase liquefied gas is vaporized to generate vapor-phase liquefied gas. A part 9a of a gas pipe line 9, communicating with the flow passage of the heat exchanger 5 and in which the vapor-phase liquefied gas generated by the heat exchanger 5 passes, is included in a container 11 to which protection gas is supplied by a gas-supplying means 13. The part 9a of the gas pipe line 9, included in the container, is provide with an intercepting solenoid valve 43 for intercepting passing of the liquefied gas in the gas pipe line 9. Therefore, the intercepting solenoid valve 43, that is made from an ordinary and inexpensive solenoid valve, and not the solenoid valve of an explosion-proof structure can be used as an intercepting valve, which can save device cost and improve safety.
