POLYESTER-BASED RESIN SHEET FOR HOT WELDING PACKAGE, AND PACKAGED BODY USING IT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat-resistant sheet which has no fear of evolving a harmful gas on burning, is capable of welding thermally without preparing a hot weldable layer, and causes no warp of the sheet on hot welding. SOLUTION: The polyester-based resin sheet for hot welding packages has the main components of 20-80 wt.% of a polyester resin of a polycondensate from a dicarboxylic acid component consisting mainly of a terephthalic acid and a glycol component consisting mainly of 90-10 mole % of ethylene glycol and 10-90 mole % of 1,4-cyclohexane dimethanol and of 80-20 wt.% of a polybutylene terephthalate; the sheet comprises a resin composition containing a pigment or colored inert particles and is an opaque and substantially noncrystalline sheet.
