PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for protecting labels to be stuck on a fiber- reinforced plastic composite container capable of clearly showing indicated contents of labels of various kinds for a long period of time. SOLUTION: A label sheet 5 indicating a container manufacturer and the like is wound around an FRP pressure container 1 in the form of a hoop winding layer and, in addition, a gas name indicating label 6, a notice seal 7, an owner indicating label, etc., are stuck on the container 1. The thickness of a clear coating layer for protecting these labels is about 100μor more, and an ultraviolet-curing coating material whose viscosity is suitably made high is applied to the labels by brushing or by flow-coating while the container being rotated. Thereafter, the coating material is dried in a short time by irradiating ultraviolet rays.
