PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shank, a sole, and a shoe which have such a structure optimal for a foot as can easily maintain the foot in a state corresponding to the Boeler angle of the foot closely related to the maintenance of a state in which a human can stand and walk in a beautiful and easy posture. SOLUTION: A shank 3 of reinforced plastics capable of being integrally buried in the sole comprises a substantially hemispheric back portion 6 and a trapezoidal plate-shape front portion 7. The top surface of the shank 3 as a whole has a downward inclination toward a toe side, and when buried in the sole 2, conforms to tangents (s) to two process tops of a heel bone 10 of the human foot forming the Boeler angleβ.
