PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a playing machine by which it can be avoided that a play becomes monotonous and a necessary storing capacity can be made small and in relation to fixing of prize-winning of a specified pattern, an intentional and very wavy playing can be formed and the playing can be made very interesting. SOLUTION: A stop controlling means is provided with a general stop controlling means (71) which can stop a specified prize-winning pattern (61) while a prize-winning flag is formed at a specified position and can confirm the prize- winning of the prize-winning pattern (61) and a restricted stop controlling means (72) which can not stop the specified prize-winning pattern (61) while the prize- winning flag is formed at the specified position and can not confirm the prize- winning of the prize-winning pattern (61) and a control apparatus (20) is provided with a stop controlling and selecting means (120) for selecting whether either the general stop controlling means (71) or the restricted stop controlling means (72) is used.
