PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To readily remove a covering sheet wound onto a winding drum into a roll shape from the winding drum. SOLUTION: This apparatus for winding the covering sheet comprises a winding drum 22 mounted on a frame and equipped with a drum core 22a mounted on a driving shaft 21 and a drum barrel body 22b on the outside in the radial direction thereof. The drum core 22a is composed of a sleeve 41 integrally rotating with the driving shaft 21 and a sleeve 42 mounted freely slidably in the shaft direction on the driving shaft 21. The drum barrel body 22b is formed by a plurality of rodlike members 45 connected through links 51 to the sleeve 41 and connected through links 52 to the sleeve 42. A wheel 31b is attached to the driving shaft 21 so as to be freely detachable and is capable of regulating sliding of the sleeve 42 so that the links 51 and 52 are kept in the radial direction. When the covering sheet wound onto the drum barrel body 22b is removed, the rodlike members 45 are displaced on the inside in the radial direction.
