PURPOSE: To connect a lead wire to a metallic terminal without soldering by nipping and holding the lead wire with two planes at the cutout provided at the end of a continuous part, in the metallic terminal having two planes making an acute angle through a continuous part. CONSTITUTION: A metallic terminal 1, which has flat two planes A and B with an acute angle θ between through a continuous part 1a, by bending one sheet of elastic metallic plate (for example, a phosphor bronze plate, for example, about 0.25-0.5mm thick) into V shape. A cutout 1b is made at one end of this continuous part 1a, and two lead wires 3 are inserted and are nipped with planes A and B. A recessed press nipping body 2 consisting of hard material such as metal and having a U-shape recess 4 is manufactured, and the metallic terminal 1 for nipping the lead wire 3 is press-fit in this recess 4, and the lead wire 3 is elastically nipped and held by the corner between the two planes A and B, and the two planes A and B. Hereby, soldering work becomes needless, and the productivity improves. |
