PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrolyte retention membrane with enough mechanical strength, and a manufacturing method of an electrolyte retention membrane which can manufacture an electrolyte retention membrane with enough mechanical strength and without wrinkles and ripples. SOLUTION: The electrolyte retention membrane, made of a porous polymer film having a number of micro holes with maximum pore size of 5μm, can be obtained by a manufacturing method consisting of a process of forming a polymer film by applying polymer solution on the surface of the roughened side of a base material of which one face is roughened, a process of dipping and coagulating the polymer film formed on the surface of the base material in coagulated liquid, and a process of drying the polymer film coagulated. |
