PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic organic photoreceptor excellent in the resistance against ozone in which characteristics of the photoreceptor such as the residual potential are not inhibited even when the add amount of an antioxidant is increased. SOLUTION: In the electrophotographic organic photoreceptor having a photosensitive layer containing a charge generating substance, electron transfer substance, hole transfer substance and binder resin on a conductive substrate, the electron transfer substance contains quinone compounds and phenol compounds prepared by reducing the quinone compounds.
