PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem of a plasma crushing device breaking a rock or the like, in which shock waves are applied to a probe itself by an electric discharge at the tip of the probe, and cracks or chips are liable to occur on an insulator even when the strength of a plastic material used for the insulator constituting the probe is increased. SOLUTION: The shock absorbing performance of the probe is improved by giving elasticity to the material of the insulator 51 constituting the probe, thereby the insulator 51 can be prevented from being cracked or chipped by the shock waves caused by the electric discharge. The insulator 51 can be fill-hardened by the use of a rubbery material, and the probe can be easily manufactured.
