PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an HST for traveling simple in structure and capable of quickly returning an output adjusting member to the neutral position when the operation of the output adjusting member such as a movable swash plate is released. SOLUTION: This HST for traveling is provided with a neutral returning mechanism for energizing the output adjusting member to the neutral position. The neutral returning mechanism is provided with a torsion spring supported around a control shaft, a locking pin rocking around the control shaft according to tilting of the output adjusting member and pressing one end part of the torsion spring in rocking, a fixing member for fixing the other end part of the torsion spring when the locking pin rocks, and an assisting device for energizing the locking pin toward the reference position when the locking pin rocks.
