PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information management device related to event data capable of reflecting time change characteristic to an example base as the importance of item to solve a problem or performing an information retrieval, a classification, and the inference of the example base. SOLUTION: This device comprises an importance determination device equipped with an event accumulation part for accumulating event inputs generated in a problem area as object; a time series data extraction device for extracting time series data and a sequence from the accumulated events; a time series data conversion device for determining the importance of an event as object included in the problem area, the attribute that is the characteristic quantity of the example, the importance of attribute value from the time series data; and an importance complementation device for complementing the importance at a prescribed time interval and recording the history of importance. The change in importance of an item as object is presented as a characteristic quantity depending on the time of the problem area from the importance complementation device.
