PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic EL display with high contrast, enabled to display an image with a feeling of depth. SOLUTION: The organic EL display comprises a transparent electrode 2, an organic EL layer 3, 4, and a back surface electrode 5, laminated successively on a transparent base board 1, and a half mirror 6 is formed at the outer surface of the transparent base board 1. As the half mirror 6, a metallic thin film of Al, Ag, Sn, Cr, TiO2, or the like, evaporated or sputtered on the outside surface of the transparent baseboard 1, or a transparent resin film on which, a metallic thin film is formed, is used. |
