PURPOSE: A system for replying to a customer in real time using an e-mail AD and an operation method thereof are provided to chat between an e-mail receiver and an advertiser in real time by using a character of the AD using the Internet e-mail. CONSTITUTION: The system for replying to the customer comprises an e-mail client(10) of the user, a web server(200), an application server(300), a personal DB(400) and an Internet browser of a service operator. An e-mail confirmation signal from the e-mail client is inputted to the web server and the web server transfers the script to the application server. The application server returns the reconfigured script to the web server by adding the personal DB information and a tag to initialize the application of the client system to the script. Thus, the first layer is transferred to the browser of the client. If the user inputs an event to the layer, the event is directly inputted to the application server without passing through the web server and the application server initializes the service environment. The character freely moves around the first layer and keeps the real time link.
