The device has a housing (12) with a pressure application element (56) to charge a friction element (62,64) for torque transmission connection between turbine wheel (14) and housing. The pressure application element is connected mainly non-turnable to the housing outside the friction surface area (R) of the friction element. The connection is via an elastic element (60), esp. a tangential leaf spring arrangement. The pressure element is axially moveable along the turbine wheel, and turnable relative to it.
