The pressure valve comprises a valve casing containing a valve dish which can be rotated on a spindle and with one end of a rod fixed to it. The other end or the rod can be moved in the spindle. The valve dish (24) has a hollow piston (32) attached to it. The piston skirt surrounds the rod (22). The piston can move axially in a cylinder (30) in the valve casing (10), and is a pressure-tight fit in it. The cylinder cavity is connected to the pressure side of the valve through the valve dish. There may be a ball bearing (38) between the rod and the piston.
