PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a machining method with a rotating tool capable of suppressing abrasion occurrence at the cutting edge of a tool. SOLUTION: In a program in which the rotating tool moves on a closed loop line and machines an object by a predetermined notch amount while being shifted in the machining progress direction, the tip of the rotating tool contacts with a machined surface when the rotating tool moves in a machined part on the closed loop line. Additionally, when it moves in a un-machined part, a rotating tool route provides a slight escape amount to allow escape in the Z-direction so that the tip of the tool does not contact with the machined surface.
