PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine which effectively prevent looseness occurring in the grinding member of a grinding means. SOLUTION: The machine is provided with a belt shape grinding sheet of paper 158 which is wound over a pair of reels 156 and 157 and a grinding cassette 151 for grinding a ball to be shot by abutting the grinding sheet of paper onto the ball which is transferred in a transfer passage. The machine is also provided with a winding motor for driving a driving side reel and properly moving the grinding sheet of paper and a pressure contact member 177 for imparting a prescribed resistance to the rotation of a following side reel 157 by being in press contact therewith.
