<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a golf club head which has a good repulsion of balls and a wide sweet spot, is light in weight and is easy to swing through. SOLUTION: This golf club head has a head body which is formed of metal, such as titanium alloy, and consists of a head body rear 11 of a hollow form opened with a clubface mounting section 14 and a clubface member 10 fixed to the clubface mounting section 14. The golf club head has an elastic plate 40 of an elongated plate material curved in contact with the inside surface of the clubface member 10 across the heel and toe of the head body rear 11.</p> |
