PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve processing for recording stream information. SOLUTION: A stream information processing system employs an information medium that has a data area configured to record stream data and a management area configured to record management information with respect to the stream data. The management information (SFIT/SFI/SOBI) is configured to include time information (PTSL) corresponding to a specific part of the stream data.
