PURPOSE: An array substrate of a liquid crystal display and a method of fabricating the array substrate are provided to reduce the number of fabrication process steps and to correct opening of a data line without adding a process. CONSTITUTION: An array substrate of a liquid crystal display includes an insulating substrate, a plurality of gate lines(121) and data lines(161) formed on the substrate, intersecting each other to define pixel regions, and a thin film transistor electrically connected to each gate line and each data line and composed of a gate electrode(122), a source electrode(162) and a drain electrodes. The array substrate further includes a passivation layer(171) covering the intersections of the gate lines and data lines and the thin film transistor, a pixel electrode(181) formed at each pixel region and connected to the drain electrode, and a conductive pattern(182) extended in the same direction as the direction of the data lines and formed on each data line to be connected with the data line. The conductive pattern is formed of the same material as that of the pixel electrode and corresponds to the pixel electrode one-to-one.
